Tomás Toirneach is a loud, sometimes grumpy old cloud. He’s passionate about the environment and rumbles around trying to educate his younger friends on how to look after it. Tomás loves birds and tries his best to keep the noise down, so he doesn’t scare them away. Today is Skytown’s birdwatching day, so he’s being extra quiet whilst teaching his Weatherbie friends all about birds. Until, that is, he finds a little bird in distress because of the careless Truailleáin! When na Weatherbies hear him and come running to see what’s wrong, will they be able to save Tomás’ little bird? Tomás Toirneach agus a Éan Beag, the 8th book in the Weatherbies series, is a wonderful gift for little bird lovers.
